Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. Our return policy differs from our Satisfaction Guarantee.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at dmm@performancebrands.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned. We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on used items.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

 

PRO TAN 30-DAY SATISFACTION GUARANTEE

At Pro Tan, we stand behind our products and quality controls.  If for any reason you are not satisfied with a Pro Tan product you purchased from Pro Tan or an authorized seller in the United States, we’ll send you a replacement product, let you try another product, or provide a refund.

Please note that because we are unable to control the quality of our products sold by unauthorized sellers, unless otherwise prohibited by law, the Pro Tan 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee is not available for products purchased from unauthorized sellers, including unauthorized internet sites.  The Guarantee is limited to original, consumer purchasers in the United States.  Guarantee requests must be made within 30 days of your original purchase. 

How To Claim The Guarantee

If you purchased from protanusa.com:

To submit a Guarantee request, please contact us by calling 1-800-555-8895 or emailing info@protanusa.com.  You will be asked to provide your order number and the reason you are unsatisfied with the product.  You may also be asked to submit photos of your product or its packaging, or provide other information to assist Pro Tan in processing your request.  If your Guarantee request is approved, you may be required to return your product to Pro Tan.  Costs of return shipping are the responsibility of the customer. 

If you purchased from a Pro Tan Authorized Seller:

If you are unable to return your product to the authorized seller from whom you purchased it, please contact us by calling 1-800-555-8895 or emailing info@protanusa.com.  Please have available information regarding where and when you purchased your product, and the reason you are unsatisfied with the product.  You will be required to provide proof of purchase, and may be asked to submit photos of your product or its packaging or provide other information to assist Pro Tan in processing your request.  If your Guarantee request is approved, you may be required to return your product to Pro Tan.  Costs of return shipping are the responsibility of the customer.

Guarantee Guidelines

Pro Tan reserves the right to verify information, require a valid proof of purchase, and to deny Guarantee requests in its discretion in cases of suspected fraud or where Pro Tan concludes that the purchaser has abused the Pro Tan 30‑Day Satisfaction Guarantee.  Pro Tan may amend or terminate the Pro Tan 30‑Day Satisfaction Guarantee at any time without notice.
